Ewen is the quieter counterpart to Emile's energy. Where Emile reacts, Ewen observes. He follows Damian with a calculated loyalty that's partly social strategy and partly genuine respect. He tends to state obvious facts with deadpan delivery and occasionally serves as the voice of reason that Damian ignores. Despite the strategic element to his friendship, he has shown moments of real concern for Damian that suggest the calculation isn't all there is.
