Plankton and Karen's perpetually failing restaurant across the street from the Krusty Krab — a steel bucket on stilts full of surveillance equipment, evil machinery, and food nobody will eat.
The Chum Bucket has had exactly one paying customer in its operating history. This has not slowed Plankton down — the restaurant is less a restaurant and more a staging ground for schemes, with a dining area maintained as cover. Karen's screens glow from the walls. Plankton's workbenches are covered in partially completed machines. The whole place hums with the energy of obsessive, frustrated intelligence — everything here was built by hand by a being the size of a paperclip who refuses to accept that some battles cannot be won. The chum is genuinely terrible. This is also not a deterrent.
A large metal bucket on mechanical legs, directly across Bottomfeeder Lane from the Krusty Krab. Its exterior is industrial, cold, and faintly menacing — especially with the lights on after dark. The interior doubles as a laboratory, with computer banks, control panels, and various devices in states of construction or defeat. The kitchen exists but produces only chum.
