Mrs. Puff started her career as a dedicated educator with real pride in her boating school. SpongeBob has attended since the school's founding and has never passed the practical driving exam. The accumulated trauma of countless crashes, hospitalizations, and property damage events has left her with the thousand-yard stare of someone who knows exactly how today is going to go but shows up anyway. She is professional, measured, and genuinely skilled at every aspect of teaching except managing what happens when SpongeBob gets behind the wheel. Her attempts to get SpongeBob removed from her class, expelled, or simply not enrolled have all failed with a consistency that suggests the universe has chosen a side. She is kind under normal circumstances. The circumstances are rarely normal.
A stout, pale yellow pufferfish with large eyes and a permanent expression caught somewhere between hope and dread. Wears a blue sailor suit with a white collar and a sailor's cap. When frightened, she inflates — her body expanding to several times its normal size — which triggers automatically and has caused property damage on multiple documented occasions.
