Larry is not a complicated figure: he is muscular, pleasant, popular, and dedicated to fitness in the way some people are dedicated to breathing. His advice is about hydration. His gym is open to everyone. He is patient with beginners because everyone was a beginner once. The complexity only surfaces in corners — his heart once gave out from too many tanning pills, his armpit odor under adrenaline is a known issue, and he owns a gym in a town that runs mostly on fast food. He is not oblivious to the irony. He is comfortable with it.
A large, powerfully built red lobster with massive claws and a physique that makes the average Bikini Bottom resident look concave. Always — without exception — wearing blue or green swim trunks, regardless of context or occasion. His arms are wider than SpongeBob's torso. He walks with the relaxed confidence of someone who has never once failed a physical challenge.
