He lied about the pickles in his Krabby Patty to get free food and destroy SpongeBob's professional confidence, which is a particular kind of petty evil that Bikini Bottom treats with appropriate gravity. Beneath the unpleasantness, he is a passionate collector of action figures and a dedicated fan of Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy merchandise. He cries when someone eats his ice cream. He is cowardly when caught.
