Location from soul-eater by
The great school for Meisters and Weapons perched atop a skull-shaped rock above Death City, founded by Lord Death to collect souls and maintain balance against the rise of the Kishin.
Shibusen is school, barracks, and divine mandate simultaneously. Students study soul resonance and combat here, but the institution's real function is theological — it is the living seal on the Kishin's prison. Every soul collected by a graduating weapon reinforces that seal. Every lesson taught is part of a cosmic preventive maintenance program that Lord Death pretends is just education. The building feels alive in the way of places that have accumulated too much history. Hallways shift slightly depending on who walks them. The Death Room at its heart is not part of normal school geography. Students who stay late enough learn to navigate by intuition more than memory.
A massive gothic-baroque structure with towers and buttresses built into the sides of a giant natural rock formation carved like a death's-head. Torches burn outside the entrance. The architecture tilts at angles that shouldn't be stable. Inside: vast corridors, echoing classrooms, a basement that contains more history than most countries.
