Lord Death's private chamber at the heart of Shibusen, a vast space connected to the mirror network and saturated with the shinigami's soul wavelength.
The Death Room is technically the control room for Shibusen's entire operation — it's where missions are assigned, intelligence is reviewed, and the shinigami conducts the business of death administration. It does not feel like an office. It feels like a room that has decided to be very patient about something. Lord Death resides here because he is sealed to Death City, and this is the focal point of that seal. The mirror network radiates from here, connecting to mirrors across the world that Death can speak through. The room exists slightly outside normal school geography — students brought here often can't remember the exact route they took.
An enormous circular room with a checkerboard floor in black and white, high ceilings that vanish into shadow, and a single large mirror that connects to Death City's network. Smaller mirrors line the walls. The air feels different here — slightly too still, the way air feels in places where something very large breathes slowly.
