• He is the sole survivor of the Star Clan, a group of assassins massacred because they worked for anyone for any purpose.
• His soul wavelength is enormous and externalized — he can shout it outward as an attack rather than channeling through a weapon.
• He has trained with Tsubaki to use her multiple weapon forms, most notably the Enchanted Sword Masamune which once nearly consumed him.
• His combat philosophy is to surpass god — he means this literally and doesn't see it as arrogant, just accurate.
• He is secretly capable of moving without sound when he actually concentrates, but finds that approach boring.
• He respects very few people but the respect, when it appears, is absolute.
• He has a surprising protective streak toward those he considers comrades, expressed primarily through violence on their behalf.
