She doesn't feel urgency; she has outlasted entire historical periods by staying patient. She is everything Medusa is but older, more dangerous, and without the trace of personal investment that occasionally makes Medusa interesting. Her spider thread can transmit madness wavelength the way a spider web transmits vibration — silently, pervasively, everywhere at once. She is the puppet at the center of a web that spans the world, and she finds that position simply correct.
