Seven jewels of immense power — drained by Eggman's laser, scattered across the shattered continents, and the only key to healing the planet and curing Sonic's transformation.

What They Know

• Seven gems of immeasurable power — each a different color, each connected to a specific Gaia Temple
• Drained of energy by Eggman's Chaos Energy Cannon at the start of the game — currently inert and gray
• Restoring each Emerald to its Gaia Temple heals a section of the planet and weakens Dark Gaia's influence
• Chip/Light Gaia has an instinctive connection to them — he can sense their locations even in their drained state
• When all seven are restored, they can power Sonic's Super Sonic transformation — which is the only force capable of confronting Dark Gaia directly
