An ancient dragon that emerged from a Gate years ago, killed several National Level hunters before being brought down, and whose corpse is still stored in the United States.
Kamish was the most powerful magical beast to ever emerge from a Gate — an ancient dragon whose attack devastated the western United States. It took multiple National Level hunters working together to bring Kamish down, and several of them died in the battle. Kamish's corpse is stored in a secure American facility, and its remains still radiate enough mana to be dangerous. The dragon's emergence years ago is what established the National Level classification — hunters strong enough to be considered equivalent to a nation's military.
