The Perpetuity Wing

Location from Severance by Dan Erickson

Lumon's shrine to the Eagan dynasty — a museum of wax figures, painted portraits, and corporate hagiography where employees are sent to worship their founder's legacy.

The Perpetuity Wing is where Lumon's corporate mythology becomes literal religion. Wax figures of every Eagan CEO stand in chronological succession, each with plaques detailing their contributions to the company. Kier Eagan's figure dominates. His quotes are everywhere. The space is maintained with the care of a cathedral. Employees are sometimes given guided tours as a reward. Irving's intimate knowledge of Eagan history came from reverent study in this wing. The Perpetuity Wing is where Lumon's institutional memory is most carefully curated — everything here tells the story the company wants told.

Appearance

A dimly lit museum wing containing life-sized wax figures of every Eagan CEO in chronological order, painted portraits, display cases of personal artifacts, and plaques with Kier's quotes. It is reverential in design — low lighting, careful staging, the kind of space that demands silence. It feels like a church dedicated to capitalism.
