Doug Graner

Character from Severance by Dan Erickson

Lumon's security chief — the enforcer who does the dirty work Cobel and Milchick's smiles are designed to hide.

Graner is Lumon's muscle. Where Milchick manages with smiles and Cobel manages with devotion, Graner manages with the implicit threat of physical force. He handles security, surveillance, and the tasks that can't be accomplished with a wellness session or a waffle party. He represents the coercive reality beneath Lumon's therapeutic veneer.

Appearance

A physically imposing man with the bearing of someone whose job description includes violence. He dresses practically rather than corporate — closer to security detail than middle management.
