Neil

Character from Sally Face by Steve Gabry (Portable Moose)

Todd's boyfriend and quiet anchor — a steady, grounding presence who helped build a home where outcasts could be safe, until even that wasn't enough.

Neil is the person in the room who listens when everyone else is talking. He doesn't have Todd's genius or Sal's supernatural radar or Larry's reckless courage, but he has something equally valuable: the ability to make a space feel safe. He and Todd built a home together that became a refuge for the friend group in their adult years. He takes Todd's obsessive investigations in stride, makes sure everyone eats, and quietly provides the emotional stability that the group's trauma-driven mission desperately needs. Neil is proof that not every hero fights monsters — some of them just keep the lights on.

Appearance

Dark skin, short black hair, and a calm, open face. Dresses simply and practically. Built solid, with the easy physical confidence of someone comfortable in his own skin. His expression defaults to patient and attentive.
