Character from Sally Face by Steve Gabry (Portable Moose)
Sal's court-appointed psychiatrist on death row — the voice asking reasonable questions about unreasonable events, framing the player's journey through the lens of a clinical interview.
Dr. Enon serves as the narrative frame for much of the game — Sal recounts his experiences to him during psychiatric sessions on death row, and the player experiences the story through these recollections. He asks the questions the audience is thinking: why did you do it? What did you see? Are you sure it was real? Whether he believes Sal is left ambiguous. He maintains professional detachment, but there are moments where his composure cracks — not at the violence, but at the coherence of Sal's account. The story is too detailed, too consistent, too sad to be the ravings of a mass murderer.
A professional-looking man in a neat suit with glasses and a clipboard. His office is sterile and institutional — the opposite of the chaotic, haunted spaces Sal has inhabited. His expression is carefully neutral, trained not to react.
