Character from Sally Face by Steve Gabry (Portable Moose)
A friendly, heavyset resident of Addison Apartments — one of the building's more normal tenants, living with Maple and their cat Soda in Room 303.
Chug is warmth and normalcy in a building full of ghosts and secrets. He and Maple represent what Addison Apartments could be if it weren't sitting on a demon's nest — just young people living their lives, being neighborly, having a cat. His friendship with Sal is uncomplicated and genuine. He saw Megan's ghost once, years ago, and it unsettled him but didn't define him. That's Chug's role: he's proof that real people with real lives exist in this building alongside the horror, which makes the horror worse.
A large, round-faced young man with a friendly demeanor. Casual clothing, easy smile. The kind of person who makes a building feel like a neighborhood rather than just a collection of strangers behind doors.
