The western desert kingdom — a harsh, egalitarian land where survival is the only qualification that matters and formal authority is openly mocked.
Vacuo doesn't care who you are, where you're from, or what you believe in. It cares whether you can survive. The kingdom is a vast desert punished by sandstorms, heat, and some of the most dangerous Grimm on Remnant, and its people have adapted by being tough, pragmatic, and deeply suspicious of anyone who tries to impose order. The central settlement clusters around an oasis, and Shade Academy is more fortress than school — a place where the entrance exam is whether you made it to the front door alive. Vacuo was once a lush paradise, strip-mined to ruin by the other kingdoms during the Great War. That history shapes everything — Vacuans don't trust outsiders, don't respect titles, and measure a person's worth by what they do, not what they claim. If you survive the desert, you belong. It's the most egalitarian kingdom and also the most dangerous, because nobody is coming to save you.
A harsh desert kingdom on the western end of Sanus, defined by scorching sand dunes, rocky canyons, and scattered oasis settlements. Once a lush paradise before other kingdoms strip-mined its natural Dust reserves, leaving an arid wasteland. The people are tough, egalitarian, and deeply suspicious of outsiders. Architecture is low, sand-colored, and built to withstand sandstorms. If you can survive Vacuo, you are welcome in Vacuo.
