Forever Fall

Location from RWBY by Rooster Teeth

A hauntingly beautiful crimson forest near Beacon where the leaves are permanently red and students collect sap for Professor Peach's class.

Forever Fall looks like autumn crystallized into permanence. Every tree burns with red and gold leaves that never change, never fall, and never green — a forest locked in perpetual peak color. The canopy filters sunlight into warm amber, the ground is carpeted with crimson undergrowth, and the trees produce a sweet red sap that has both culinary and scientific applications. Beacon students make field trips here to collect sap samples, which sounds pleasant until you remember that Grimm also live in these woods. The forest is quieter than the Emerald Forest — fewer Grimm, more space between the trees, a deceptive tranquility that makes people lower their guard. It's where Jaune's bullying by Cardin Winchester came to a head, where Pyrrha demonstrated her polarity Semblance in secret, and where the line between field trip and combat exercise is thinner than the professors admit.

Appearance

A hauntingly beautiful forest north of Vale where every tree bears perpetually red leaves year-round, carpeting the ground in crimson. The canopy filters sunlight into warm amber tones. Red sap drawn from the trees is both a valuable commodity and an attractant for Grimm — particularly Ursai. Beacon students visit on field trips to collect sap, and the forest serves as a recurring backdrop for character-defining moments.
