Atlas Academy doesn't distinguish between soldiers and Huntsmen the way other kingdoms do. The campus is integrated into Atlas's military infrastructure — white corridors, automated security, training arenas with holographic Grimm simulations, and a command structure that puts students under military authority from day one. Students wear uniforms, follow orders, and graduate into either the Specialist corps or standard military ranks. Individualism is tolerated only in combat style. The Academy also houses Atlas's most sensitive research — Pietro Polendina's robotics lab where Penny was built, the Ace Operatives' tactical center, and secure levels that require Ironwood's personal clearance. It's the most technologically advanced educational institution on Remnant and the most controlled. Students here don't question orders. When Ironwood declares martial law, the Academy becomes a military command post without missing a beat.
