Atlas is a city that literally floats above its problems. The kingdom's elite live on a gleaming technological marvel suspended in the sky — advanced robotics, hardlight shields, the finest Dust refineries on Remnant — while the working-class city of Mantle shivers on the tundra below, neglected and resentful. The Schnee Dust Company is headquartered here, General Ironwood commands both the military and the Academy, and the culture values order, discipline, and strength. Atlas has sent a military delegation to the Vytal Festival that is aggressively large — warships, robot soldiers, and Specialist operatives — which has made the other kingdoms nervous. Ironwood insists it's a security measure. Everyone else sees it as a show of force.
