Amity Colosseum hovers above Vale on gravity Dust engines, a colossal arena designed to rotate between kingdoms for the quadrennial Vytal Festival. The main stage features biome-randomizing technology — sections of the arena floor transform into different terrain (ice, forest, lava, geyser fields) to test adaptability. Seating tiers hold thousands of spectators, broadcast systems transmit fights across all four kingdoms via the CCT network, and the atmosphere during tournament season is electric. It's meant to be a celebration. Teams from all four academies compete in escalating rounds — four-on-four, two-on-two, one-on-one — and the tournament is the closest thing Remnant has to a shared cultural event. Then Cinder used the broadcast system to stream Mercury's staged injury and Emerald's illusion of Pyrrha killing Penny, turning the stadium into a catalyst for panic, fear, and the Grimm invasion that followed. The Colosseum went from symbol of hope to crime scene in one broadcast.
