A dragon-like Grimm of apocalyptic scale that spawns lesser Grimm from its body — the creature that brought Beacon Academy to ruin.
The Wyvern is a walking extinction event. A dragon-like Grimm the size of a warship, with vast membranous wings, bone-plated skull, burning red eyes, and a body that drips with black ooze that solidifies into smaller Grimm upon hitting the ground. It doesn't just attack — it generates an army as it flies. Every wingbeat, every scrape of its claws against a building, spawns Beowolves and Creeps and worse from the tar-like substance of its hide. It emerged during the Fall of Beacon, drawn by the unprecedented concentration of fear and negativity from the Vytal Festival massacre. It perched on Beacon Tower like a gargoyle and turned the Academy into a Grimm nest. Ruby's silver eyes froze it in place atop the tower, where it remains — petrified but not dead, a monument to the worst night in Vale's history. If it ever wakes up, Beacon is finished.
A colossal dragon-like Grimm that dwarfs buildings, with a wingspan that blackens the sky. Jet-black scaled hide, enormous bone-white armor plates along its head, spine, and wings, and blazing red eyes set in a horned skull mask. Spawns lesser Grimm from droplets of black ooze that drip from its body during flight. The Wyvern that attacked Beacon was frozen to the tower by silver eyes, becoming a permanent beacon for Grimm drawn to its presence.
