Character from RWBY by Rooster Teeth
Vale's most stylish criminal — a theatrical thief and underworld operator forced into working for Cinder's conspiracy against his better judgment.
Roman is a showman first and a criminal second. He robs Dust shops in a white coat and bowler hat, fights with a cane that doubles as a rocket launcher, and delivers one-liners while buildings collapse around him. He's genuinely dangerous — resourceful, experienced, and completely amoral — but he's also in way over his head. Cinder recruited him (by which we mean threatened him) to steal massive quantities of Dust and coordinate with the White Fang, and he hates every second of working with ideologues and monsters. He's a survivor above all else. He doesn't believe in causes, justice, or heroism — he believes in Roman Torchwick, and right now Roman Torchwick's best odds of survival involve doing what the scary fire lady says. His partner Neo is the only person he seems to genuinely care about. He's useful as a villain who can be reasoned with, bribed, or turned — if the price is right and the threat to his life is credible enough.
