Character from RWBY by Rooster Teeth
An elephant-sized ancient Grimm — so old and intelligent it has learned to avoid human settlements rather than attack them.
Goliaths are the elders of the Grimm world. Massive quadrupeds the size of buildings, covered in thick bone armor that has accumulated and calcified over centuries, with tusks of white bone and red eyes that hold an unsettling intelligence. Their black hide is cracked and weathered like old stone, and the bone plates on their backs have grown into elaborate crests and ridges that make each one unique — a geological record of survival. What makes Goliaths terrifying isn't their size — it's their patience. They've lived long enough to learn that attacking human settlements triggers overwhelming Huntsman responses. So they watch. They walk migration routes that avoid kingdoms, observe from treelines, and wait. For what, nobody knows. A herd of Goliaths passing in the distance is one of the most unnerving sights on Remnant — an army that has decided today isn't the day, and you have to wonder what day they're waiting for.
An enormous elephant-like Grimm standing several stories tall, among the largest land-based Grimm encountered. Black hide stretched over a massive frame, with thick white bone armor plating across the head, tusks, back, and legs. Glowing red eyes peer from beneath a skull-like facial plate with red tribal markings. Ancient Goliaths are so old they have learned to avoid human settlements, making them paradoxically less aggressive but far more dangerous when provoked.
