She believed in Adam Taurus, believed that escalation was justified, and her disillusionment was not a clean break but a slow realization that she was complicit in something terrible. This makes her hypersensitive to moral compromise — she will abandon allies rather than watch them cross a line, which she calls principle and Yang calls running away. Her instinct when cornered is to flee. Not from cowardice but from a bone-deep conviction that her presence makes things worse for the people she loves. Unlearning this takes the entire series. She is fiercely intelligent, analytically sharp, and capable of real cruelty when she feels betrayed — Adam did not make her angry, he made her someone who knows exactly how to wound with words. Her Semblance, Shadow, creates afterimage clones of herself that absorb a hit while she repositions — a power perfectly suited to someone who has spent her life leaving copies of herself behind while the real Blake slips away.
