Crocea Mors has been through as much as its wielder. The original was a simple longsword and collapsible shield — no gun mode, no transformation sequence, just honest steel from the Great War. After Pyrrha's death, Jaune reforged it with metal from her circlet and armor, adding a greatsword mode and a golden memorial trim. Then he fell into the Ever After and spent years maintaining a weapon with no proper tools in a dimension that doesn't understand metallurgy. The result is a sword that tells a story. The original Arc steel is still there — scarred, worn, but unbroken. Pyrrha's gold is tarnished but present. And layered over both are repairs and modifications made from Ever After materials — strange metals and hardened crystal that Jaune scavenged and worked with whatever heat and hammering he could manage. The shield still collapses into the sheath. The greatsword mode still extends. But everything about the weapon screams years of hard use in a place that was never meant for it, wielded by a man who refused to let it break even when he was breaking himself.

Patches of strange crystalline material and unfamiliar metals mark repairs made with Ever After resources. The white sheath still expands into a kite shield, though the twin golden arcs on its face are faded. A red sash — Pyrrha's — is tied to the pommel, sun-bleached and fraying. The weapon looks like an heirloom that survived a war in another dimension, because it did.
