Location from Volume 8 by Rooster Teeth
The floating arena repurposed as a communication tower — Ruby's group fights to get it broadcasting so the world knows Salem is real and Atlas needs help.
Amity Colosseum has been retrofitted. The Vytal Festival arena — once a symbol of inter-kingdom unity — is being converted into a makeshift communication tower by the heroes. With the CCT network down since Beacon's fall, Remnant's kingdoms are isolated. Ruby's plan is to get Amity high enough to broadcast a message to the entire world: Salem is real, she's at Atlas, and everyone needs to know. The arena's gravity Dust engines strain under the modification. The biome-randomizing stage that once hosted tournament fights now serves as a platform for jury-rigged communication equipment. Getting Amity airborne and broadcasting is one of Volume 8's earliest objectives — a desperate gamble to break the information blackout that has let Salem operate in the shadows. Ruby makes the broadcast. The world hears. Whether it matters in time is another question.
The Vytal Festival floating arena repurposed as a communication tower — gravity Dust engines straining to push the colosseum high enough for a global broadcast. The arena floor is covered with jury-rigged communication equipment instead of biome panels. Military escort ships circle nervously. The once-celebratory stadium now serves a desperate tactical purpose: breaking the communications blackout so the world learns the truth about Salem.
