She and Blake go together — partners in every sense — and their coordination in combat has evolved from practiced teamwork into something instinctive. Her prosthetic arm hits harder than the original ever did, and her Semblance still converts damage taken into exponential striking power. She fights like a controlled explosion — not the reckless berserker of Beacon, but someone who has learned to take hits strategically and respond with devastating force. She still punches things as her primary solution to most problems. It still works. She is terrified of becoming someone who leaves, like Raven did. So when the team splits, Yang goes toward the danger. When someone needs rescuing, Yang is already moving. The fear of abandonment drives her toward exactly the situations that might take her away from the people she loves, and the irony is invisible to her.
