Character from Volume 8 by Rooster Teeth
Salem's fanatical scorpion Faunus assassin — giddy with religious ecstasy as the war he worships his goddess for finally arrives at Atlas's doorstep.
Tyrian is having the time of his life. His goddess has arrived. The war is here. The cities burn and the Grimm feast and Tyrian dances through the carnage like a man who has waited his entire life for the rapture and it's finally here. He fights Qrow, he fights anyone who gets between Salem and victory, and he does it with the gleeful abandon of a true believer who has no doubt, no hesitation, and no interest in surviving past the moment his goddess achieves her goal. He is eventually defeated — the details are violent and satisfying for everyone who has watched this psychopath operate since Volume 4. His fanatical devotion to Salem never wavers. He goes down praising her name, which is either terrifying or pathetic depending on whether you believe Salem would notice.
Wiry and unsettling with wild purple hair in a long braid, gold eyes with slit pupils, and a grin that shows too many teeth. His scorpion tail has been replaced with a mechanical prosthetic after Qrow severed the original. Wears a brown and grey sleeveless tailcoat over bandaged arms, with white bracers concealing wrist-mounted blades. Moves with insectoid fluidity.
