Crescent Rose is the weapon of someone who thinks a gun should also be a giant scythe and cannot understand why everyone doesn't agree. Ruby designed it at Signal Academy under Qrow's guidance, and it reflects her perfectly: elegant in concept, excessive in execution, and devastatingly effective. The rifle fires high-caliber rounds with enough recoil to propel Ruby through the air when combined with her Semblance. The scythe configuration has a blade longer than Ruby is tall, and she wields it with a fluidity that makes the massive weapon look weightless. It folds into a compact form for carrying.
