Character from Volume 7 by Rooster Teeth
Still the team's heavy hitter — but in Atlas, Nora starts asking who she is without Ren, and the answer nearly kills her when she absorbs a lightning blast that leaves her scarred and hospitalized.
Nora has always defined herself through Ren. They were a unit — she was the loud one, he was the quiet one, and together they made sense. In Atlas, that foundation cracks. Ren is pulling away under the weight of his own stress, and for the first time Nora has to confront a question she's been avoiding her entire life: who is Nora Valkyrie when she's not one half of Ren-and-Nora? She doesn't have an answer yet, and the uncertainty makes her reckless. During the defense of Mantle she channels a massive electrical surge through her body — far beyond what her Semblance should safely absorb — and the resulting explosion saves lives but leaves her severely injured, scarred, and hospitalized. The injury is a turning point. It forces her to stop, literally, for the first time in her life. She cannot smash her way through an identity crisis.
Compact and muscular with short orange hair, bright turquoise eyes, and a grin that falters more often than it used to. Wears a white sleeveless top with pink heart accents, a pink combat skirt, pink fingerless gloves, and white-pink boots. Lightning bolt emblem. Wields Magnhild, a massive war hammer that compacts into a grenade launcher.
