Clover is the leader of the Ace Operatives — Atlas's elite Huntsman unit — and he's good at it. Charismatic, tactically sharp, and genuinely skilled, he earns the team's respect quickly. His Semblance, Good Fortune, passively generates positive outcomes for those nearby — the mirror image of Qrow's Misfortune. This makes his friendship with Qrow significant. For the first time, Qrow can be around someone without his Semblance causing collateral damage. They fight well together, their luck Semblances canceling each other out into something like normal probability. Clover teases Qrow. Qrow actually smiles. Clover's fatal flaw is institutional loyalty. When Ironwood orders the arrest of the team, Clover follows the order — even targeting Qrow, his friend. During the resulting confrontation, Tyrian exploits the chaos and kills Clover with Qrow's own weapon, framing Qrow for the murder. Clover dies believing in the system that failed him.
Athletic and handsome with short teal hair, teal eyes, and a confident smile. Wears the Ace-Ops uniform: a sleek white and teal military outfit with a four-leaf clover pin on his chest. His weapon, Kingfisher, is a combination fishing rod and hook that extends into a grappling line and restraint tool. Carries himself with relaxed authority.
