Cinder Fall

Character from Volume 7 by Rooster Teeth

The Fall Maiden returns to Atlas — Cinder infiltrates the kingdom with Neo, attacks the Winter Maiden's chamber to steal another power, and fails when Penny receives it instead.

Cinder is operating against Salem's explicit orders. Salem sent her to Atlas for reconnaissance, not combat. But Cinder wants power — specifically, the Winter Maiden's power — and her ambition overrides her fear of Salem. She infiltrates Atlas disguised by Neo's illusions, moving through the kingdom's social functions and military zones while gathering intelligence on the Maiden's location. When she finds Fria's chamber, she attacks — and fails. Penny arrives, the power transfers to the android, and Cinder is left empty-handed again. Every failure makes Cinder more dangerous and more desperate. The Fall Maiden power is enormous but incomplete — she wants all four Maiden powers, wants to be strong enough that no one can ever hurt her again. Her backstory of childhood abuse and enslavement drives a hunger for power that is bottomless. Her Grimm arm can steal Maiden powers through contact — a gift from Salem that is also a leash.

Appearance

Striking with short black hair over her left eye (hiding her Grimm arm), a single burning amber eye on the right, and a face of cold, calculating beauty. Her left arm is a Grimm appendage — black and clawed, granted by Salem to replace what Ruby's Silver Eyes destroyed. Wears a dark red dress with black glass slippers and minimal armor. The Fall Maiden's power manifests as flame around her remaining eye.
