Location from Volume 6 by Rooster Teeth
A northern Mistral coastal city near the Atlas border — a joint military outpost where the team must get past a blockade to reach Atlas.
Argus is postcard-pretty and politically complicated. A coastal city built along cliffsides overlooking a frigid northern sea, with colorful buildings stacked in terraces, cobblestone streets, and a massive Atlas military base occupying the headland. The architecture is Mistral-influenced — warm stone, arched windows, cafe-lined plazas — but Atlas soldiers patrol the streets and Commander Cordovin's giant mech reminds everyone who has the bigger guns. The team arrives here needing passage to Atlas and finds the borders sealed. Cordovin, the Atlas base commander, is antagonistic and territorial — she considers non-Atlas citizens beneath her attention and denies them transport. The team must find another way across, which leads to a desperate plan involving stealing an airship and fighting a massive Grimm to prove they deserve to pass. Argus also holds Pyrrha's memorial statue — a bronze figure in the city plaza that stops Jaune in his tracks. The city sits at the intersection of two kingdoms that don't trust each other, and that tension lives in every interaction.
A northern coastal city in Mistral, built along cliffsides overlooking a frigid harbor. Colorful terraced buildings in Mediterranean-inspired architecture — warm oranges, yellows, and reds against grey stone and blue water. An Atlas military base dominates the shoreline with a massive radar array and a giant mech for defense. Cordovin commands the base with territorial zeal. Pyrrha's memorial statue stands in the city plaza.
