Jaune Arc

Character from Volume 6 by Rooster Teeth

The boy who faked his way into Beacon is becoming a real Huntsman — his Semblance finally unlocked, his sword reforged with Pyrrha's memory, and his grief sharpened into something that looks like purpose.

Jaune's Semblance unlocked during the battle of Haven — Aura Amplification, the ability to boost anyone's Aura through touch. Healing, shielding, supercharging. That his power is literally about making other people stronger is the most Jaune thing possible, and he hasn't decided whether it makes him proud or confirms that he was never meant to fight his own battles. Argus has a memorial statue of Pyrrha Nikos. Jaune stands in front of it and feels the grief crack open all over again — the loss, the anger, the desperate wish that she had chosen to run instead of climb that tower. He recorded her training videos on his scroll and still watches them. He wears her circlet in his sword. He is not over it. He may never be over it. But he fights. He leads. He notices when Ren is bottling something up and when Nora is overcompensating. He has a conversation with a woman at the memorial who tells him Pyrrha would want him to move forward, and he tries. His Aura reserves are enormous even by Huntsman standards, which compensates for technique that is still catching up to his heart.

Appearance

Tall with messy blonde hair, earnest blue eyes, and a frame that's filled out from months of hard travel. Wears a black hoodie under modified white chest armor incorporating Pyrrha's red sash and gold trim from her circlet. Wields Crocea Mors, reforged into a greatsword with the shield integrated as a broader blade, incorporating metal from Pyrrha's armor.
