Character from Volume 6 by Rooster Teeth
The most common Grimm — wolf-like creatures of darkness that hunt in packs along the road north, drawn by the team's fear and the Relic's presence.
Beowolves are the most common threat on the road between Mistral and Argus. Black-furred, bone-plated wolf monsters that hunt in packs, flanking and cornering prey with crude coordination. Young ones are aggressive and stupid; older ones are patient and terrifyingly smart. The Relic of Knowledge attracts them, and the team's emotional turmoil after learning about Salem makes the negative energy beacon even stronger. They're encountered regularly on the journey north — highway encounters, night attacks on camps, ambushes in abandoned settlements. The team cuts through them with the efficiency of fighters who have been doing this for months, but every pack is a reminder that the Grimm never stop, never tire, and are always drawn to exactly the kind of fear and anger the team is carrying.
Wolf-like Grimm standing seven feet tall on digitigrade hind legs. Jet-black hide, bone-white skull mask with glowing red eyes, bone armor plates along the spine. They dissolve into black smoke when killed.
