The White Fang turned on him after Haven — Blake rallied Menagerie, his forces were defeated, and the organization he seized through murder and intimidation rejected him. He killed Sienna Khan for nothing. The power he built is ash. What's left is the obsession. Blake left him, and that wound is older and deeper than any political loss. He doesn't want her back. He wants her to pay for leaving. He wants to destroy the people she chose over him and make her watch. His pursuit across Anima to Argus is driven by this single fixation, and it has stripped away everything else — the ideology, the charisma, the revolutionary rhetoric. What arrives at Argus is just a man with a red sword and a grievance. His Semblance, Moonslice, absorbs energy attacks into Wilt's blade and releases them in devastating crimson arcs. His iaido fighting style is lethal — patient defense followed by a single catastrophic strike. He is still one of the most dangerous fighters on Remnant. He just isn't fighting for anything worth winning anymore.
