Haven Academy stands on Mistral's upper plateau, grand and intact — unlike Beacon, it wasn't destroyed. But it was nearly lost. The Battle of Haven erupted in the main hall: Cinder's team on one side, the heroes on the other, with the White Fang attacking from outside. The vault beneath the academy holds the Relic of Knowledge, accessible only by the Spring Maiden. Professor Lionheart — the headmaster — was Salem's agent, feeding her information and opening the doors for the attack. His betrayal was complete and his cowardice total. The academy itself survived the battle largely intact, though the trust in its leadership did not. The vault is reached through a passage beneath the main hall. Inside, a vast underground chamber houses a golden platform where the Relic of Knowledge — a golden lamp — rested until Yang took it after Raven fled.
