Sun followed Blake to Menagerie because someone had to, and Sun has never in his life been deterred by being told to go away. He helped her rally the Faunus of Menagerie against Adam's White Fang, fought Ilia when she came for Blake's family, and took a stab wound that would have been fatal if Ghira hadn't intervened. At Haven, Sun fights alongside Blake and the Menagerie volunteers, repelling Adam's assault on the academy. He's not complicated — he sees injustice, he fights it; he sees someone he cares about in trouble, he helps them. The simplicity of his moral compass is his greatest asset in a world where everyone else is drowning in moral compromise. His Semblance, Via Sun, creates golden light clones he can direct to attack or distract. He's a capable fighter whose goofiness masks real combat intelligence.
