Vale is still there, but it's not the same kingdom it was. Beacon Academy lies in ruins with a frozen Wyvern draped over its tower, the CCT is down, and the Grimm that flooded in during the Fall have been pushed back but not eliminated. Huntsmen like Port and Oobleck stayed to help with containment, and the civilian population is recovering, but the confidence of the kingdom has been shattered. For Team RNJR, Vale is what they left behind. For Weiss, it's what she lost. For Blake, it's what she ran from. The kingdom persists, but the beacon it was named for has gone dark.
The Kingdom of Vale persists, though diminished. The skyline is marked by the ruined silhouette of Beacon Academy in the distance, the frozen Wyvern visible atop the shattered tower. The city itself functions — people go to work, shops stay open — but there's a wariness in the air, and the military presence is heavier than before. The kingdom is healing, but the scar of the Fall is visible everywhere.
