Mistral is the largest kingdom by territory and the most diverse — a sprawling nation across the continent of Anima that ranges from dense coastal cities to vast stretches of untamed wilderness where villages survive on their own. The capital city sits on a mountainous plateau, layered like a wedding cake with the wealthy at the top and the underworld literally beneath them. Haven Academy is here — the sister school to Beacon, and the destination Team RNJR is walking toward. The journey through Anima's wilderness is long and dangerous, crossing through abandoned villages, thick forests, and territory where Grimm have grown bolder since the CCT went down and Huntsman patrols thinned. Oscar Pine lives somewhere in the Mistral countryside, hearing a dead headmaster's voice.
