The Faunus homeland — a large island given to the Faunus after the Great War as a 'compromise' that was really a cage, now a thriving community where Blake has returned to hide.
Menagerie is what happens when you give an entire species the worst real estate on the planet and call it generosity. A large island south of Mistral, two-thirds of it is uninhabitable desert, and the remaining third is packed with the largest Faunus population on Remnant. The main settlement, Kuo Kuana, is dense and vibrant — a tropical community of wooden buildings, market stalls, and a population that has made something beautiful out of deliberate neglect. Blake's parents live here. Ghira Belladonna, her father, is the chieftain of Menagerie and the former High Leader of the White Fang before he stepped down. Kali, her mother, welcomes Blake home with tea and no questions. The island feels safe — warm air, familiar faces, the sound of waves — but the White Fang's shadow reaches even here. Adam's agents are watching.
A large tropical island south of Mistral — dense jungle giving way to a coastal settlement of wooden buildings with Asian-inspired architecture, market stalls, and lantern-lit streets. Kuo Kuana is warm and colorful, packed tightly because the livable portion of the island is small relative to its population. The Belladonna estate sits prominently in the town center. Palm trees, ocean breezes, and a sense of community that belies the island's origin as a political compromise.
