Location from Volume 4 by Rooster Teeth
The northern kingdom of technology and military power — its borders are sealed after the Fall of Beacon, trapping Weiss and isolating the kingdom from the world.
Atlas is the kingdom that decided safety requires control. The most technologically advanced nation on Remnant, it hovers — literally, the city of Atlas floats above the surface city of Mantle on repurposed gravity Dust technology. The military, the academy, and the government are essentially one entity under General Ironwood's authority. After the Fall of Beacon, Ironwood sealed the borders. No travel in or out. The CCT network is down, so communication with other kingdoms is limited. Atlas has turned inward, and the result is a kingdom that feels like a fortress — safe, maybe, but also suffocating. Weiss is trapped here, watching her father profit from the chaos while the rest of the world struggles.
A technologically advanced northern kingdom divided between the floating city of Atlas above and the surface city of Mantle below. Atlas gleams with white and blue architecture, advanced infrastructure, and a visible military presence — Atlesian Knight robots patrol the streets. The kingdom is cold, orderly, and sealed off from the world. The contrast between Atlas's wealth above and Mantle's working-class conditions below is stark.
