Goliath

Character from Volume 4 by Rooster Teeth

Massive elephant-like Grimm seen in the wilds of Anima — ancient, intelligent, and so large that even experienced Huntsmen give them a wide berth.

Goliaths are among the oldest and largest land-based Grimm on Remnant. They move through the wilderness of Anima in small herds, and the ground shakes when they walk. Unlike younger Grimm that attack on instinct, Goliaths have survived long enough to develop genuine intelligence — they observe, calculate, and choose their battles. Most Goliaths will not attack fortified positions or large groups of Huntsmen, not out of fear but out of patience. They know they will outlast the humans. Team RNJR may spot Goliaths in the distance during their journey through Anima. The smart response is to give them space and keep walking.

Appearance

An enormous elephant-like Grimm, towering thirty feet or more at the shoulder. Jet-black hide beneath heavy bone-white armor plating covering its face, back, and legs like tectonic plates. Massive tusks of Grimm bone, glowing red eyes set deep beneath a heavy skull mask, and red tribal markings along its plating. Covered in so much bone armor that its age is clearly immense — centuries, possibly millennia.
