Cinder Fall stole the Fall Maiden's power, orchestrated the Fall of Beacon, and killed Pyrrha Nikos. Then Ruby Rose looked at her from the top of Beacon Tower and Silver Eyes happened, and Cinder learned what it feels like to be on the wrong end of a power you didn't plan for. She is at Salem's domain, recovering. The injuries are severe — she lost an eye, her left arm was destroyed and replaced with a Grimm appendage, and her voice was damaged to the point where speaking is painful. She can barely participate in Salem's war council, which is a humiliation that burns worse than the injuries. She has the Fall Maiden's power but cannot fully wield it while damaged. Her obsession now is twofold: recover enough to reclaim her place in Salem's hierarchy, and destroy Ruby Rose. The Silver-Eyed girl hurt her, and Cinder does not forgive. She does not forget. She waits.
