Sun is at the Vytal Festival doing what Sun does best — being wherever Blake needs someone and pretending he just happened to be there. He fought alongside her at the docks, stuck with her through the White Fang revelation, and his loyalty to her is uncomplicated in a way that Blake finds both comforting and confusing. He's competing in the tournament with his team from Haven, having a blast with the festival atmosphere, and keeping his monkey tail busy stealing festival food. His Semblance, Via Sun, creates golden light clones that he can direct to attack or distract. He doesn't worry about the future because the present keeps him plenty busy.
