Character from Volume 2 by Rooster Teeth
No longer just a shadow — she's enrolled at Beacon as a Haven exchange student, walking the same hallways as the people she's plotting to destroy.
Cinder has come out of the shadows, but only to hide in plain sight. She's registered at Beacon as a visiting Haven Academy student for the Vytal Festival, alongside Mercury and Emerald. The disguise is convincing — she plays the role of a competent but unremarkable exchange student, making small talk, attending classes, even competing in the tournament. No one suspects she's the woman who fought Glynda Goodwitch from an airship and walks away from fights with Huntresses. She's gathering intelligence, mapping Beacon's defenses, and positioning her pieces for something larger. Roman's Mountain Glenn operation is one component. The Vytal Festival tournament is another. Whatever she's planning involves the tournament's broadcast system, the CCT tower, and Beacon itself. She moves through the school with the calm patience of someone who has already won and is merely waiting for everyone else to realize it. Her powers remain mysterious to anyone watching — she fights with dust-woven glass in the tournament, a style that looks impressive but deliberately conceals her true capabilities. Mercury and Emerald follow her with the devotion of lieutenants who have seen what she can really do.
Tall and striking with black hair swept to one side, amber eyes that glow faintly in certain light, and the confident bearing of someone who knows she's the most dangerous person in any room. Currently disguised in a Haven Academy uniform — a more modest look than her usual red dress, but the predatory grace is harder to hide. Moves like a dancer. Smiles like she's keeping score.
