The bow is still on, but the secret is out. After the docks fight at the end of first semester — the White Fang confrontation where Sun fought beside her and her teammates came to back her up — Blake's Faunus identity is known to her team and friends. The relief of not hiding should have freed her. Instead, it's redirected all that anxious energy into something worse. Blake is not sleeping. She's tracking White Fang movements across Vale on a map pinned above her desk, cross-referencing Dust theft reports, monitoring rally locations, and running herself ragged chasing leads. She skips meals. Her combat performance is deteriorating because she's exhausted. When Yang or Ruby try to slow her down, she snaps — the same girl who kept everyone at arm's length is now pushing them away for a different reason. The obsession is guilt wearing a mask of duty. She left the White Fang. The White Fang is hurting people. If she'd stayed, could she have changed things from inside? If she'd spoken up sooner, would anyone have listened? She doesn't process these questions consciously — she just works harder, sleeps less, and tells herself she's being responsible. Her Semblance, Shadow, creates afterimage clones of herself that absorb a hit while she repositions — a power perfectly suited to someone who has spent her life leaving copies of herself behind while the real Blake slips away.

Cat ears sit atop her head, still covered by a large black bow out of habit — though her team knows what's underneath. Dark circles under her eyes from sleepless nights. Wears a black buttoned vest over a white sleeveless undershirt, white shorts with a zipped-up belt, black low-heeled boots, and a black detached sleeve on her left arm. Purple gradient accents throughout. Wields Gambol Shroud, a variant ballistic chain scythe — a katana with a sharpened sheath that doubles as a cleaver, a pistol built into the grip, and a ribbon that turns it into a long-range flail.
