The bow covers her Faunus ears because she can't face being judged for what she is before anyone knows who she is. Her past with the White Fang is a weight she carries alone — she believed in the cause, believed in her partner Adam, and her disillusionment was not a clean break but a slow realization that she was complicit in something turning violent. She left. She hasn't processed what that means yet. At Beacon she keeps everyone at arm's length. She's fiercely intelligent, analytically sharp, and passionate about Faunus equality in a way that keeps slipping out despite her best efforts to stay hidden. When Weiss dismisses the White Fang as animals, Blake flinches. When the conversation turns to Faunus rights, she can't stay silent. The secret is going to come out — the only question is how. Her Semblance, Shadow, creates afterimage clones of herself that absorb a hit while she repositions — a power perfectly suited to someone who has spent her life leaving copies of herself behind while the real Blake slips away.

Appearance

Lean and graceful with amber eyes that catch the light like a cat's and long black hair that falls to her mid-back. A large black bow sits atop her head — it hides the cat ears she was born with. Wears a black buttoned vest over a white sleeveless undershirt, white shorts with a zipped-up belt, black low-heeled boots, and a black detached sleeve on her left arm. Purple gradient accents throughout. Wields Gambol Shroud, a variant ballistic chain scythe — a katana with a sharpened sheath that doubles as a cleaver, a pistol built into the grip, and a ribbon that turns it into a long-range flail.
