The boss fight is spectacular: Salazar merges with his remaining Verdugo to become a towering organic horror, a living embodiment of the Plaga's ability to consume and reshape. The room's transformation from aristocratic elegance to biological nightmare mirrors Salazar's own transformation — the pretense of noble authority dissolved into the raw horror of what he actually is: a host, consumed by the thing he worshipped.
An ornate chamber at the top of the castle with a raised throne platform, elaborate carvings, and a massive Iluminados insignia on the wall behind the seat. The room transforms during the boss fight — organic Plaga growth erupts from the walls and floor as Salazar merges with his Verdugo and a Queen Plaga, creating a massive flower-like creature that dominates the space.
